Overcooked for PS5 and Xbox Series X gets all-new accessibility options - Polygon

The newest Overcooked game hits PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X later this year. In addition to remastered levels from the first two games and some new ones, Overcooked: All You Can Eat will also offer expanded accessibility options and a brand-new assist mode. To quote Pixar’s Ratatouille, “Anyone can cook!” and now Overcooked: All You Can Eat will make that dream possible for more players.

The new assist mode will allow players to increase level times, boost scores for meals, lengthen recipe times, and turn off the food expiration feature. Additionally, the user interface will be able to be tweaked and scaled, with dyslexia-friendly text options available and color-blind friendly chef indicators. You can see those new features in the trailer above.

Overcooked: All You Can Eat is a remaster of Overcooked and Overcooked 2, featuring all the levels in both games and their DLC. In addition to the accessibility features, the game will have cross-play online multiplayer, new levels and chefs, and brand-new achievements to unlock. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game will also run at 60 frames per second in 4K resolution.

Polygon has reached out to publisher Team 17 to inquire about Overcooked: All You Can Eat’s accessibility options for current-generation platforms.
