The eagle eyed among you will notice that the rewards you receive will work in both Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Warzone. This will surely overjoy fans who’ve been grappling with concerns over how content will carry over; typically, CoD is annualised, much to the dismay of many. But with the launch of Modern Warfare 3, this looks set to change.
With the carry-over confirmed, there are certain items that won’t carry over, so all players should be mindful of this as they plough ahead into the next warzone. Still, later down the line is a long way off, and besides, the rewards you’re getting are for both so there’s no need to panic.
The oh so originally named Modern Warfare 3 event will begin on 17 August at 6:30PM BST which is 10:30AM PST. As for the game itself, Modern Warfare 3 will launch on 10 November on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
