Nigel Farage slams Joe Biden over terror attack - ‘How can he retain any credibility?’ - Daily Express

On Thursday, thirteen US service members and 90 Afghans were killed in a terror attack at the Kabul evacuation site. ISIS-K have claimed responsibility for the Kabul airport attack.

President Biden has pledged ISIS-K would be made to pay for the two suicide bomb attacks near Kabul airport on Thursday.

Speaking from the White House, Mr Biden vowed to “hunt down” the terrorists.

He said: “To those who carried out this attack, as well as anyone who wishes America harm, know this—we will not forgive.

“We will not forget. We will hunt you down and make you pay. I will defend our interest in our people with every measure at my command.”

He added: “We will not be deterred by terrorists. We will not let them stop our mission. We will continue the evacuation.”

Responding to the terror incident online, former Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage slammed the president’s handling of the crisis in a single line.

Nigel Farage tweeted: “How can Joe Biden retain any credibility as President?”

Twitter users were quick to agree with Mr Farage’s take on the president.

One user wrote: “He was VP in an administration during the US occupation of Afghanistan. He could have “fixed” it then.

“It’s not the withdrawal, It’s how he’s done it. He’s putting Americans at risk of death or hostage taking. Total Leadership Failure.”

Another wrote: “The way he pulled the troops out was terrible. Why would you pull out of somewhere you have occupied for 20 plus years without telling anyone and endangering many people.”

Someone else tweeted: “He’s making the best of a disaster he inherited from a string of predecessors.

The statement comes after President Trump spoke on Fox News after the terror incident claiming the “tragedy should never have taken place.”

He added: “It should never have happened. And it would not have happened if I were your president.”

According to the White House the US has helped to evacuate more than 100,000 people from Afghanistan since 14 August.
