Far Cry 6 Gameplay Reveal Announced for This Week - IGN - IGN

Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 6's worldwide gameplay reveal will take place on May 28, 2021, at 9:30am PT/12:30pm ET/5:30pm BST.

The news arrived alongside a new teaser that features Giancarlo Esposito's Anton Castillo speaking to the people of the island nation of Yara, where he is the dictator.

Far Cry 6 was originally set to be released on February 18, 2021, but was delayed alongside Rainbow Six Quarantine to after March 2021 due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic.

Far Cry 6 will takes place on the totalitarian island state of Yara and players will take on the role of Dani Rojas (who can be male of female), a Yaran guerrilla revolutionary.

As previously mentioned, Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito will play Anton Castillo and Far Cry 6's introduction showed that he preparing his son Diego for leadership of Yara.

The game is being developed by Ubisoft Toronto and will take players across Yara, including its capital city of Esperanza. There will also be Fangs of Hire in Far Cry 6, and the star of the show just may by Chorizo, the "cutest wiener dog on wheels."
Far Cry 6 will be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Stadia and PC.
