The latest version of Mozilla's browser includes a new password protection feature.
This functionality notifies Firefox users of any data breaches via the browser's integrated Firefox Lockwise password manager.
Which will help to ensure you can quickly act to change your login details and protect yourself from the threat of scammers trying to hack into your account.
The Lockwise warning also helpfully lets those affected know when the breach actually occurred, showing how long passwords from the site in-question have been exposed for.
Google Chrome added a data breach notification tool in Chrome 79 back when it launched last December.
However, while Chrome users are familiar with this feature what might tempt them over is the speed in which Mozilla is updating Firefox and adding new functionality.
