The time has come, and the much-hyped dino-shooter Exoprimal launches into Xbox Game Pass today, pitting humans and exosuits against waves of dinos.

Capcom has been bigging up Exoprimal for some time, and it's been one of the major upcoming launches on our list of all the games coming to Game Pass, but the wait is over as the action game joins Xbox Game Pass today.

Capcom's Exoprimal drops into Xbox Game Pass today

The game's main mode is Dino Survival, where two teams of five take on PvE and PvP missions as part of a war game created by the Leviathan AI.

Capcom reminds players that you'll need a linked Capcom ID to play Exoprimal, saying, "Employees are highly advised to complete this process ahead of launch to ensure swift engagement with the ravenous dino swarms."

The Exoprimal roadmap confirmed that Exoprimal's first season begins at launch today, with the new PvE Savage Gauntlet mode to come later in the month. The first title update comes in August, with season two in October and another title update with more content. Season two is also when Capcom's Street Fighter 6 collab arrives, while the Monster Hunter collab arrives with season three and another title update.
