Aston Martin has taken advantage of its close connection to the James Bond franchise to launch two new limited edition cars to celebrate the curtain raising of the latest 007 movie later this year.
Aston Martin's own 'Q' division - named after the famed gadget branch of Britain's secret service in the films - has created 007 Editions of the Vantage and DBS Superleggera to mark the release of No Time To Die in November.
Priced from £161,000 and £279,025 respectively, having a touch of Bond on your Aston Martin comes with a mark-up of over 25 per cent.
007 Editions: These are the two new Bond-inspired Aston Martins unveiled today...
The British car maker says first deliveries of the two models - both produced at the bespoke Q division at its headquarters in Gaydon, Warwickshire - will arrive at the beginning of 2021.
They are the latest installment in 007-themed vehicles from the brand, which has been affiliated to the movie series since 1965.
Aston Martin's classic 'Works' department at Newport Pagnell is also in the midst of building 25 replica DB5 Goldfinger cars right now .
Each will cost £3.3million, feature a host of the gadgets the vintage Aston Martin (which also appears in No Time To Die) showcased when it debut in the hit film - thought not an ejector seat, sadly - and will not be legal to use on the road.
The modern-era creations might lack the machine guns and bullet-proof shield but make up for it with staggering performance.

The V8 Vantage first appeared in the hands of the British Secret Service agent in The Living Daylights in 1985

Bosses say the Vantage is inspired by the original V8 Vantage, which starred in 1987’s The Living Daylights Bond movie and - as revealed in the trailers - makes a cameo appearance in 25th installment of 007 films later this year.
Mechanically, it's unchanged - meaning a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 503bhp and can accelerate from parked to 60mph in 3.6 seconds and onyo a top speed of 195mph - easily enough to catch up with the most dastardly of villains.
It's in the detail where the 100-only 007 Edition models stand out.
The standard grille has been replaced with a more aggressive mesh cover and chrome surround and the rear diffuser has flashes of yellow.
These are designed to replicate the hazard stripes on the rocket boosters of the 1987 film car.

It is available in one colour only - Cumberland Grey - and has '96.60' embroidered on the sun visors - a nod to the radio frequency used by Bond in the iconic escape scene in The living Daylights.
One option that is likely to be popular among Bond fans is the availability of a ski rack and skis, as the V8 Vantage had in the 1987 007 hit.

The Vantage 007 Edition will cost £161,000 - a premium of a third over the £120,900 standard model.

The even pricier DBS Superleggera 007 Edition is being built in more limited outputs, with just 25 produced.
They have been specified to match the one Bond - played by Daniel Craig - will drive in No Time To Die.
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera 007 Editions will be a like-for-like replica of the car Daniel Craig drives in the upcoming movie
Just 25 Bond-inspired versions of the supercar will be made by Q division in Gaydon
Even the rear spoiler has a nod to the secret agent, which is etched in the carbon-fibre panel
The replicas will all be a dead ringer - finished in the same Ceramic Grey paint and the roof, wing mirrors, front splitter, rear diffuser and spoiler finished in exposed carbonfibre.
Like the movie car, it will have unique 21-inch Y-spoke wheels.
Again, no upgrades have been made to the powertrain and chassis, which means the same 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine produces a like-for-like 715bhp.

Order are already being taken for both ahead of the films delayed arrived in three months' time - with production being pushed back due to the limitations caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The film will also debut Aston Martin's soon-to-be-released Valhalla hypercar - you can find out more about the £1.5million vehicle in our report.
