As rumoured earlier in the week, PSP classic Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is making a comeback. The remaster, due out “this winter” will release on the PS5 and PS4, and will feature “updated 3D models, full voiceovers, and new music arrangements”. A trailer showcased a ton of gameplay, which retains the original's divisive slot machine mechanics, which are utilised to award Limit Breaks and level protagonist Zack Fair up.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII serves as a prequel to the main Final Fantasy VII storyline, and up until now has only been playable on the PSP, where it launched in 2007. You can check out the trailer for the new Reunion version above.
