Call of Duty’s multiplayer experience has always involved Killstreaks, allowing players to earn an advantage against the enemy. The V2 Rocket Nuke is Vanguard’s ultimate Killstreak, and here’s how you can get one.
Players across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC have been getting to grips with how Vanguard’s multiplayer works. After all, Sledgehammer Games’ newest take on Call of Duty has brought tons of new guns, maps, and brings back a classic Killstreak – the Nuke.
The V2 Rocket is Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Nuke Killstreak that ultimately kills everyone on the map and ends the game instantly.
Let’s get into what it is and how you can get it.
How to get the V2 Rocket Nuke in Call of Duty: Vanguard
To get the V2 Rocket Nuke Killstreak, players must get a 25 gun streak in a single match. Killstreaks do not count towards the 25 kills, they have to be with guns and equipment only.
Players do not need to equip the Vanguard V2 Rocket as a Killstreak, as it is awarded once you achieve the 25 gun streak, regardless of the Killstreaks you have chosen to use before entering the match.
Previously known as a Tactical Nuke, the Vanguard V2 Rocket essentially works very similarly to Modern Warfare 2019’s version of the Nuke Killstreak.
How to use the V2 Rocket Nuke in Vanguard
If you can pull off the impressive feat of earning a V2 Rocket Nuke, then you’ll want to just make sure you know how to use it – especially if you’ve never had a Nuke before.
Here’s how to use the V2 Rocket Nuke in CoD: Vanguard:
- Achieve your 25th kill in-a-row using weapons, not Killstreaks
- Wait for the prompt saying that you’ve got the V2 Rocket Killstreak
- Press right on the D-pad
- Your Operator will pull up a phone, and you will need to wait about 10 seconds for the Nuke to drop and automatically win the match for your team
Having said that, if you are looking to achieve a higher killstreak than 25, make sure you don’t use the V2 Rocket before your streak is over. Once you’ve acquired it, you won’t lose it.
Of course, getting this 25 Killstreak is very difficult and will take a lot of time and effort to do so. The best advice we can give is to play smart, take your time, and don’t panic.
The worst thing that can happen is for players to get close to the Killstreak and then choke at the final hurdle as they panic and overthink situations.
That’s all on the V2 Rocket in Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Multiplayer. To ensure your success, check out some of our best loadouts for the STG44, MP-40, Automaton, and Type 100.
