Apple has urged millions of UK iPhone users to update their devices after it discovered potential security flaws in its operating software.
The American technology giant said on Wednesday that it had made the updates available across iPhones, iPads, Macs and the Apple Watch to ensure that users were protected from hacks.
An anonymous researcher raised concerns with Apple and the company said it was “aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited”. Apple said the update “provides important security updates and is recommended for all users”.
